Imagine a regular get-together of peers dedicated to solving mutual problems and addressing mutual concerns. That's exactly what happens at the Infrastructure Consultant (ICON) users group hosted by GoodPointe Technology.

The group, which ranges from 25 to 50 city and county engineers and public works professionals, meets quarterly to discuss day-to-day concerns of Infrastructure asset management, get "hands-on" experience with ICON and other GoodPointe Technology software applications, and hold roundtable workshop discussions on the emerging issues that are shaping the landscape in the field of infrastructure asset management.

At the users group, knowledge is shared about how to use and present maintenance information to government and commercial organizations. Having an automated system gives users the ability to take the system information, create numerous "what-if" scenarios, and make decisions which support the larger goals of their organizations.
